General FAQ
SHIPPING
We strive to ship as soon as possible, but we want to be reasonable and honest with our processing times. Usually the orders are shipped within 2-3 business days after receipt. Please check the current processing times at the top of the page or in item description.
We use USPS or UPS service and all packages will have tracking - provided to you in an email. All of our orders are shipped in a cardboard box. Even 1 soap will arrive securely packaged in a box.
* Please note that we cannot be responsible for the package once it leaves our hands. We provide tracking number for every package. If the package is left in a mailbox for a long time, some melting of product (especially whipped body butters or hard body lotions) can occur. Please track your package and remove it from the mailbox as soon as possible to prevent this.
RETURNS / EXCHANGES
Due to nature of the product we are selling - personal care products, the returns or exchanges are not accepted, however please contact us if you have any problem with your order.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards either.
Please contact us with any order related issues so we can address it and make it right. We love our customers and will do our best to keep you satisfied and on board!

DAMAGES & ISSUES
Although we do not anticipate any, we do understand that things happen sometimes.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
DISCLAIMERS
* Please make sure to keep all your soaps and any solid bar cosmetics on a well draining dish. It is very important to let the bar dry in between uses as all handmade soaps will absorb water and become mushy if not properly drained.
* All products are for external use only.
* Always patch test before applying to face /body.
* Our products are made with natural butters and oils from nuts, seeds, fruit or other botanical parts. If you have any allergies or are sensitive to any ingredients, please read the product description and label carefully or contact us before purchase. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
* Monika Botanika Inc. makes no claims to cure, diagnose, mitigate or prevent any skin condition or a medical problem and is not intended to substitute other therapy or medical advice. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please consult use of any cosmetics with your health care professional.
* Monika Botanika Inc. is not liable for any individual reaction to any ingredient or product. Please read the label /description carefully and do not use any product that contain ingredients that may trigger allergic reaction or sensitivity. Please follow directions for use.
* All of our soaps are DETERGENT FREE, SLS FREE, PARABEN FREE. Some are 100% natural - please refer to listings - and some are 100% PLANT BASED. However, some are made with animal milks and fats. Please make sure to read the listing or contact us if you are allergic to any ingredients. We do our best to list all ingredients so you can make informed decision.
* If you have any known allergies, please contact us for full ingredient list (if already not provided in listing). We can accommodate those with allergies by formulating our soaps without certain ingredients, so please contact us for custom orders or suggestions! We appreciate it very much!
* Each of our glycerin soaps is individually packed in plastic wrap, although we recognize that it is not Eco friendly packaging, at this time we have no other option: the soap has added glycerin (in the production process) that is loving ingredient to the skin, however it is also humectant. Simply, the soap pulls the moisture from the air and collects it on the surface - it is nothing bad, is does not change any of the soap properties but looks like little beads on the soap. To prevent that we have to pack all our soap the way we do. This packaging process is especially needed during very humid months as the soap "sweats" a lot during summer.
